History

After the First World War, the Revello family, consisting of Giovanni Revello, Caterina Tezzo and their children, Ercole, Maria and Giacomo Revello, moved from Cherasco to the Annunziata hamlet of La Morra. In 1967 their firstborn son Lorenzo was born, and in 1969 their second son Carlo was born. Lorenzo and Carlo, after gaining other work experience, decided to take over the family business in the 1990s. From here began a great adventure in the world of top quality wine, taking the name 'Revello' around the world. In 2016, the two brothers decided to divide the company.

People

Today, Enzo, his wife Luciana and their children Elena and Simone work in the company.

Vineyards

The estate's vineyards, planted with Nebbiolo, are located in the ancient Giachini and Rocche dell'Annunziata church estates; in the Conca vineyard, the Gattera vineyard and the Gorette vineyard in the commune of La Morra and a vineyard also in the commune of Serralunga d'Alba. They have been practising sustainable viticulture for years, carrying out few, targeted treatments, mainly sulphur and copper-based, and abandoning the use of herbicides and insecticides.

Wines

Five Baroli are produced from excellent crus, one Barolo classico, two Barbera, one Nebbiolo and one Dolcetto.
The Revello winery is part of the 'Insieme' project. By choice, they do not clarify or filter the wines so that they can keep every nuance intact. This approach to winemaking aims to have Barolos that lend themselves to long bottle ageing, but that can be appreciated and understood even at a young age.
