Pietro Marrone was born in 1887 into a family that already produced wine grapes. In 1924 Carlo was born, who – together with his brothers Paolo and Michele and his sister Mariuccia – helped their father Pietro to enlarge the company. In 1955 Gian Piero – Carlo’s son – was born: he dedicated himself to the production of wine, with the same passion as his father.


Today Gian Piero is supported by his three daughters, Denise, Serena and Valentina, who are working alongside him towards increasingly ambitious goals. Valentina is the family oenologist. Serena is in charge of administration and foreign markets. Denise is the face of hospitality in the cellar, supported by her mother Giovanna in the kitchen and by a dynamic and competent staff.

The management of the vineyards is aimed at creating an ecological system that allows the plants to be in the best possible condition.

The company produces white wines such as Langhe Favorita, Langhe Arneis, Gavi, Langhe Chardonnay. The red wines produced are: Dolcetto d'Alba, Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera d'Alba, Nebbiolo d'Alba Superiore, Barbaresco and three Barolos. Finally, Moscato d'Asti is the dessert wine.
